Go Outside! Fall Color Walk
I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
— L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

It’s SW Portland! That means we are outdoors in any kind of weather. So, rain, shine, or blustery day, get out and explore. The Fall Color Walk Map (above), courtesy of the Bridlemile Neighborhood Association goes right through Brookford. Walking the whole route can take 2-3 hours. Fall color is always changing and each walk will reveal new gems along the route. And repeating all or part of the walk but in the opposite direction reveals new views and sights too... So get out with your camera and capture the scenery.

In addition, think about exploring the SW Trails System, play in Albert Kelly park, stroll through a nearby Village, or take a class from Multnomah Arts Center. Remember, the Hillsdale Farmer’s Market is open year round. Check the online schedule to see which Sundays you can drop by and load up on fresh food!
